Measurement system: weekly GEO run and report

Day 29 of 30 · GEO Shopify – 30-day course

Day 29: Measurement system: weekly GEO run and report

Focus: Measurement is a routine. A weekly GEO run reveals drift and progress.

What you will achieve today

  • Create a weekly test workflow using your prompt set.
  • Define a one-page report format.
  • Run your first weekly report today as a baseline.

Deliverables

  • A one-page GEO report template.
  • A filled baseline report.

Step-by-step

  1. Open your 12-prompt set from Day 6.
  2. Run the prompts and record: citations, wrong facts, missing facts, and the cited URL if any.
  3. Record 3 notes: what improved, what regressed, what to fix next.
  4. Create a one-page report format with those fields.
  5. Store reports in a folder by date.

Checklist

  • Report is one page and repeatable.
  • It contains concrete fixes, not opinions.
  • Baseline is saved with the date.

Examples

Report note

  • Good: Prompt 4: shipping time was wrong. Fix PDP summary to match policy.
  • Bad: AI was weird today.

Common mistakes

  • Changing prompts every week so results cannot be compared.
  • Writing long reports no one reads.

Done when

  • Baseline report exists and you have next fixes.
  • You can complete the weekly run in 15 minutes.

Next: Tomorrow you will do the capstone: one collection end-to-end with GEO-ready pages.
