Day 13: Citable PDP blueprint
Focus: A citable PDP is predictable: facts first, then evidence, then persuasion.
What you will achieve today
- Create a PDP layout that supports quick citation.
- Place the most quotable facts near the top.
- Make the page answer common prompt intents.
Deliverables
- A PDP blueprint section list for your theme.
- One product page updated to match it.
Step-by-step
- Define the top-of-page order: title, price, availability, 5-line facts, key spec table, shipping/returns summary, proof, FAQs.
- Add a 5-line facts block near the top (you will refine tomorrow).
- Add a specs table with the fields your category needs.
- Add FAQ entries for the top 3 objections.
- Confirm the page is readable on mobile.
Checklist
- Facts block is above long marketing copy.
- Specs table is text, not an image.
- FAQs include at least one policy question.
Examples
PDP structure
- Good: Facts block + specs table + policy summary
- Bad: Long story first, facts hidden at the end
Common mistakes
- Putting all facts in an accordion that is closed by default.
- Writing FAQs that avoid the real objection.
Done when
- One hero product matches the blueprint.
- You can reuse the blueprint for other products.
